I don't think there really is such a thing as an open Alpha but I really feel that the blog I have started qualifies as an alpha so there you go.

I am very excited, I got promoted a lateral job change on Friday to Developer I.  I have been working towards this for awhile so am very happy that it has come through.  I will still be getting to do Data Analyst stuff and working with SQL (which I never would have thought I would like, but find I do quite a bit), but I will also be doing more developing of programs so all is good in the world at the moment.

The other night I was playing World of Warcraft, I have a priest and was in an instance.  A couple of people where on the voip that they have and said a couple of times that I was doing a good job.  After a few more minutes one asked if I was Holy spec., at this point I said I actually was all Shadow but two points in Holy.  They thought I was doing really good expesially since I was not Holy. 

I worry all the time that I do a crappy job at healing so the fact that two strangers who know nothing about me and had no reason to compliment me did so made my night.
